The One of the Eight-Grand-God, Kunitokotachi no Mikoto

　I referred and pay worship to Eight-Grand-God standing on every eight sides of all lives to nurture and raise each of them. First, I’ll tell you about God for purification. ‘Oyasama’ named this God as “Kunitokotachi no Mikoto”, so I follow it.
The same name of the God was in “the Reikai Monogatari” or "The Story of the heaven" authered by Onisaburo Deguchi, the co-founder of Oomoto Church.
When One and Two Great Grand God started to create human beings, this God first agreed to cooperate. In the universe, male sex appears by the way of the Moon as it appears. I think it’s so like men, changing the figure by sun shines. God of Kamurogi, I talked last month,　was given a birth by this God and became Izanagi, the origin God of male, we call today. The God has whole control of water. People perform cold water ablutions by a fall, human body has 60-70% of water, and surface sea area of the globe is also 60-70%, remains about 64% now. Those act and distribution shows clearly about how bigness of this God’s role. By the way, I was told surface area of Moe and Atlantis which sank into the sea is about 4%.

Its direction is north, and its figure looks like dragon, this is why there are many dragon gods appeared as followers. These Gods don’t like the heart of insatiable desires, and are symbolic of protection as basis of men. Actually, when people become self possessive, like I want these and those, the world started to be confused. No wonder human society looks like giving up their family, society and behavior protecting the glove, would be unregulated chaos.

Human beings should be entity of God’s shrine-house, but people are making mess of their body, get sick, then saying that we have no alternatives because we are human beings. God sorrow that there are too many dirty people to be in. The minimum requirement to be accepted for the house of God is also said in the Eight Pass of Righteousness by Buddha.

　
This Grand God appears from 0 a.m. to 2 a.m. and is replaced by God whose role is giving-out, Taishokuten, after the dead of night, about whom I’ll tell in November. When we must purify our body, we should return our body to the God at 0 a.m. On the other hand, if the body is purified being all the time, we don’t feel sleepy and get tired. It’s natural that God sorrows for the people who eat and drink to excess are far away from the shrine of God, all over the wealthy countries including Japanese people .

God of Yahashira, or Eight-grand-god goes around by months and years. God of Kunitoko protect from 0 a.m. of the 1st to 12 p.m. of the 3rd in each month, and from December 21 to January 20. As the power of this God become strongest from midnight to 2 a.m. on the first three days of the New Year, everyone feels formal.

In terms of Buddhism, Buddha and his sermon were appeared as temporary figure of this Grand God. I heard Thousand Armed Avalokiteshwara is another important figure of this grand God.
